Research & Publications
My work explores the connections between people, wildlife, and the environments we share. As a conservation researcher and storyteller, I bring together scientific inquiry, field experience, and visual storytelling to better understand human–nature relationships and support community-driven conservation.
Currently pursuing a master’s degree through Miami University’s Global Field Program, I am particularly interested in local ecological knowledge, wildlife tracking, and how environmental knowledge is learned, shared, and passed between generations. My field experiences in tropical ecosystems, including Borneo and Belize, have inspired a growing interest in the role of traditional knowledge and community participation in conservation.
I also explore urban ecology, including how communities experience, perceive, and interact with wildlife in cities, and how access to nature shapes these relationships.
This page brings together my research projects, publications, fieldwork, and ongoing inquiries at the intersection of conservation science, anthropology, and storytelling.
